A place made ready for church camps
The Ic Ponor holiday village sits inside the Apuseni Nature Park, at 1,100 m, in the Padiș – Cetățile Ponorului area. Far from the city and close to nature, it suits a Christian camp where people have time to be together, to pray and to rest.
We welcome churches and Christian groups from everywhere, of any size: from the teenagers of a small church to whole-congregation camps of over 100 people. Our hope is that every group leaves with a camp that stays with them.
What your church gets
- Beds for over 100 people across a motel, a villa and houses, with rooms for families, leaders and children's groups.
- Full board: three meals a day, cooked in our own kitchen and served in our own dining hall.
- An event hall with a stage for morning and evening meetings, singing, Bible study and sketches.
- A gazebo with a barbecue and hot tub for evenings together, and space for a campfire.
- Volleyball and football pitch, an adventure park with a zip line, and a children's playground.
- Free Wi-Fi and parking.
- Road access all year round — camps can run in winter too.

You bring the program, we handle the rest
We never impose a spiritual program: each church sets its own themes, speakers, songs and daily rhythm. We fit meal times around you and book the activities you choose — adventure park, ATV, horse riding, hikes or trips to the caves nearby.

What a camp day can look like

Church camp questions
How many people can come?
We have over 100 beds across the motel, villa and houses, so we can host small groups as well as camps of more than 100 people.
Do you welcome churches of every denomination?
Yes. We welcome any church or Christian group that wants to hold its camp somewhere quiet, in nature. The spiritual program stays entirely yours.
What do meals include?
Full board, with three meals a day cooked in our own kitchen and served in the dining hall. If some participants have special dietary needs, let us know early so we can talk through the options.
Is there somewhere to hold our camp meetings?
Yes, there is an event hall with a stage for group meetings, and in good weather you can also gather in the gazebo or at the open-air stage.
Can we hold our camp in winter?
Yes. The road is open all year, and winter activities include sledging, horse-drawn sleigh rides and snow games.
